2017 WINTER CAMP in SINGAPORE

This winter, I went to Singapore for studying english! That is the best chance for me. because I have to practice english and chinese. Singapore is the best country because they use english and chinese. In my major, Hotel tourism, learn many languages (English, Chinese and Japanese.). Because I should able  to take conversation with foreigners for become to hotelier. But I was only learning and studying. I had not chances for practice to take conversation in foreign languages. So I thought this is chance for me!

My professor in MDIS is Ted. He is good professor to me because he listen to my bad english hard. So I thankful to him. His class is nice too. I never experienced this way to class. The most useful class was writing sentences to 4 parts, Place, Food, People, Lesson. First stage is just word and next stage is sentence and next is add a sentences and last is make a story. that way to write was helpful to make perfect english sentences. I will use that way to write.

In fact, The experiences at after school is more helpful than class. Before  I went to Singapore, I wanted to take conversation with foreigners. because I'm studying english and chinese but I couldn't have practice. So I tried to converse with foreigners. I talked to foreigners anywhere!　The most memorable moment is at McDonald’s. When I went to Mc Donald’s, I met a Indonesian man. He sat diagonal seat to me. I talked to him. He already knows I am Korean. because he have ever traveled Korea. So We were converse about Korea in english. That was so interesting and I could realized I can converse in english. If I can’t go Singapore, I can’t realized that.

My Friends and I surveyed at Marina Bay Sands Hotel. I was so exited about going to Marina Bay Sands Hotel. because That is very famous hotel and I wanted to meet Marina Bay Sands Hotel’s concierge. A concierge who I met in Marina Bay Sands’s Shopping center is very nice to us. My friends Cheong hwan’s dream job is concierge. So I told him “He want to be a concierge and We are studying about Hotel tourism.” then he more kind to us! I was very touching! and me and Marina bay sand’s concierge promised to meet again.

When I was surveying I met many people who staying in Marina bay sands hotel. There were many types of people. I thought can I satisfied many types of people? I have not confidence. but I want to be a hotelier more. but I disappointed to face of Marina bay sands’s hotelier. because Their face was little angry. I think hotelier have to give comfortable impression to customer. but Marina bay sands’s hotelier, I saw, was not. If I work in hotel, I don’t do that! I will smile to them.

I want to entree Casino. because I interested about casino dealer. but I can’t entree because I’m only nineteen in Singapore. I was too disappointing for 2 weeks. If I go to Singapore again, I will go to Marina bay sands’s casino.

I felt and learned many things in Singapore for 2 weeks. maybe I can’t experience again that. So I am very regret about have no plan. I am knew about my secret power and english skill. and then I felt confidence for converse with foreign people and I am able to see the world. I will study hard foreign language. because I want to converse with many people more! and I decide to be a hotelier and give good impression about Korea to foreign people.
